We are proud to be partnering with Independence Matters Group to recruit a new Chief Financial Officer. 

Independence Matters are a care sector, Community Interest Company (CIC), providing Learning Disability and Domiciliary Care services across Norfolk and parts of Suffolk. Since 2023, 100% of the shares are now owned by Norfolk County Council, making them a wholly owned trading company of the council. Independence Matters and Home Support Matters make up the Independence Matters Group (IMG) which is a ‘profit for a purpose’ organisation where all profit is reinvested back into the company and the communities that they serve. A large proportion of their work is commissioned through Norfolk County Council (NCC) which means that they have strong links to local government. Some of their support service functions, including ICT and Payroll, are delivered to them by NCC via SLA’s. 

This independent social enterprise business is constantly adapting and evolving to the ongoing challenges of our ever-changing county and the wider world. The role of the Chief Financial Officer is pivotal to ensuring the sustainability and growth of Independence Matters to ensure it continues with the life changing support it provides.
